Adivi Sesh’s performance in the highly anticipated film Major, which chronicles the inspirational journey of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and his bravery and sacrifice during the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, won hearts across the country.
The actor, who traveled the country for special screenings of the film, left audiences in tears with his sensitive and impactful performance in the film, which pays homage to one of the country’s greatest heroes. It was recently shown to 312 commandos and their families at a screening for the National Security Guard in Mumbai. During this screening, Adivi was honored with an honorary medal from the Black Cat Commandos for his captivating performance in the film.
According to Adivi Sesh, “We showed the film to the National Security Guard in Mumbai, where 312 commandos and their families watched the film. When the film ended, there was complete silence, they told me asked to come to their headquarters, and when I got there, they gave me this medal in the name of the Black Cat Commandos. To me, it’s bigger than any Oscar. So I believe we have a winner with Major.
