Koepka’s pending departure from the PGA Tour was reported by the Telegraph of London on Tuesday. A source confirmed that Abraham Anser, who is ranked 20th in the world, is also leaving the PGA Tour for LIV golf.
Koepka, 32, is one of the highest-profile players to join the breakaway circuit, which is being funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and is fronted by two-time Open winner Greg Norman.

Abraham Anser is set to become the latest player to join LIV Golf ahead of the Saudi-backed Breakaway Series event in Portland later this month.
It is understood that the world number 20, who missed the US Open due to illness, will be announced as one of LIV Golf’s new signings along with Brooks Koepka, whose next week at Pumpkin Ridge expected to compete.
Koepka shrugged off questions about LIV golf’s involvement in a vigorous press conference ahead of the US Open last week, insisting he hadn’t given much thought to the possibility and attempting to cast a “dark cloud” on the media chief.
