The musician reportedly suffered a heart attack after his concert in Kolkata, shortly after he died. KK will always hold a special place in the hearts of everyone who heard their beloved songs. One of his most popular collaborations was with Emraan Hashmi. The actor has featured in many hit songs sung by the singer including Zara Sa, Beetein Lamhe and Dil Ibaadat. These songs are etched in the memory of many.
As Emraan Hashmi mourns the loss of KK, he penned a heartfelt note for the singer which reads, “A voice and a talent like no other. They don’t make ’em like him anymore. In an interview with ETimes, Emraan spoke about KK’s passing. He said, “I woke up to this heartbreaking news today. I had an amazing time collaborating with KK on all of our songs. They will always hold a special place in my heart and so will he. KK is gone too early. It’s the end of an era.”

KK passed away last night. He was 53 years old. The musician is survived by his wife Jyothy, their son and a daughter.
