Tiafoe, a USTA regional training facility in College Park, Maryland, where his father was as head of maintenance, was reared there as the son of immigrants from Sierra Leone.

Constant (also known as Frances Sr.) Tiafoe and Alphina Kamara, immigrants from Sierra Leone, welcomed twins Frances and Franklin into the world on January 20, 1998 in Maryland.

In order to flee the civil conflict in their nation, both his mother and father fled to the United States in 1996. His father started working as a day labourer on the Junior Tennis Champions Center building project in College Park, Maryland, in 1999.

Net Worth:

In between training sets at the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) on Friday, May 9, 2014, in College Park, MD, Francis Tiafoe, 16, examines his necklace. Francis, like his identical brother Franklin, is unable to recall the exact moment he first picked up a tennis racquet.

As fate would have it, the twins practically grew up holding rackets, as their father worked at JTCC and the family occasionally resided there when the boys were little. Francis, the youngest of the twins, is currently seeded first for the 2019 French Open Junior Championship and is the No. 2-ranked kid in the ITF World Junior Rankings.
