Jaylen Brown: Troll, Smart, 3 Pointers Last Game, All-Star, Game Log
Jaylen Brown saved his best performance in the NBA Finals for Game 6 with a game-high 34 points.
Troll:
The Warriors finished the NBA Finals at TD Garden to win their fourth championship in eight years. Drummond Green was at the center of all the action with a stellar performance to end the series.
And it wasn’t just his performance that caught the attention of Celtics fans. Earlier in the series, the Giants of Mouth had taken issue with the Garden crowd and was at the receiving end of “F**k Draymond” chants.
Today, with the series in the bag, Drummond took to Twitter to pick up on violence. To sprinkle salt on the very open Celtic wounds, Drummond clapped on Jaylen Brown’s tweet from January, which was praised as a harbinger of the Celtics getting back on their way to victory.
Smart:
When discussing NBA players, the conversation focuses on basketball statistics, not NASA internships and graduate courses. But Jaylen Brown is different.
The Boston Celtics guard has long been considered an athlete of a different kind. Some of the coaches were not sure how he would do under his leadership. But the Brown is intelligent, well spoken and socially aware.
In his only year playing for the Golden Bears, Brown averaged 14.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. In the 2016 NBA draft, the Boston Celtics selected him as the third overall pick.
3 Pointers Last Game:
He had five 3-pointers in last game against Warriors.
Celtics 90 – 103 Warriors · Jun 17, 2022
Celtics earned the honor this year. After a 16-19 start, the Celtics showed their determination and ability. Sweeping the talented nets, knocking out the defending champion bucks, beating the hard-fighting heats and challenging the champion warriors is no small feat.
All-Star:
When the official 2022 NBA All-Star Game reserve was announced, Brown was not selected, but his name was prominent among those formerly listed as a potential injury replacement for Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets.
When Jaylen Brown was not named to the NBA All-Star Game during last week’s announcement, Celtics fans took note. Brown has one of the Celtics’ best players this year, and has been instrumental in their turnaround and current eight-game winning streak.
