Wall, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, played one season of collegiate basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected by the Washington Wizards with the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. Guard John Wall and the LA Clippers have reached a formal agreement on a two-year, $13.2 million contract, according to a Friday statement from his agent Klutch Sports Group.

Wall and the Houston Rockets reached an agreement on a $6.5 million buyout on Monday. Wall was owed $47.4 million after exercising the player option for the contract’s final year.

Wall, 31, and the Rockets mutually agreed not to participate last season as Houston was in the early stages of a rebuild.
