Wall, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, played one season of collegiate basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected by the Washington Wizards with the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. Wall and the Houston Rockets reached an agreement on a $6.5 million buyout on Monday. Wall was owed $47.4 million after exercising the player option for the contract’s final year.
