The world lost one of the most famous singing sensations last night with the passing of KK. The popular Bollywood singer who gave us countless tunes to groove to breathe his last after performing at a concert last night at Nazrul Mancha located in South Kolkata.
As the entertainment industry tries to come to terms with the sudden loss, reports on Times Now now suggest that Kolkata police have registered an unnatural death case for the same. It is reported that he fell ill and collapsed in his hotel room after his performance and was quickly taken to the Calcutta Medical Research Institute. Sadly, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to media reports.
The case was reportedly registered at New Market Police Station. KK’s family has arrived in Kolkata and the autopsy will be carried out today after the consent of the family. A certain tweet quoted in ANI News, which read, “West Bengal | #KK singer’s family arrives in Kolkata. The singer passed away last night after a concert in the city. His body is being kept at CMRI Hospital in where he will be transported to the SSKM hospital.”
