His position is Center fielder.

For now, though, Trout is not a great center fielder, being a great hitter who plays in center field. This is effectively capping his overall value and setting him up for a final move with a potential shift to the left or right field of the defensive hierarchy.

Not surprisingly, what we can see is some pretty cool stuff. Trout are actually getting more aggressive. He has more than doubled his first-pitch swing rate, rising from 10.6 in 2014 to 21.0 this year. And according to FanGraph, his overall swing rate stands at a career-high 41.7 percent.

Angels superstar and fantasy football commissioner Mike Trout revealed details about the “legendary” – and controversial – league he helped launch this past offseason.

In a dugout interview with ESPN on Sunday night, Trout revealed details about the league that made its debut this year. The three-time MVP took part in the fun, but did not win during the league’s inaugural year – Alex Bregman of the Astros placed first.

Trout ran in the lone run for Helos on Sunday with an RBI single at the bottom of the first. With the knock, the outfielder extended his hitting streak to four games after struggling for a week. He seems to be back playing like the Mike Trout we all know and love.
