Ms. Marvel, the latest entrant to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 lineup, is coming in a few days. The show is set to introduce the first Pakistani-American superhero – Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel (played by Iman Vellani). With a plot revolving around South Asian characters, the series is full of Bollywood references and it would be incomplete without a mention of Shah Rukh Khan. In fact, Sana Amanat, co-executive producer of the series and co-creator of the comic book character, revealed that she would love to have Shah Rukh Khan on the show.
In a recent interview with Times of India, Amanat revealed that the creators of the show would resume filming if Shah Rukh Khan wants to be featured. She said, “If Shah Rukh Khan wants to be on this show, we’ll start filming again! We’ll resume production, we’ll (definitely) resume production! Call someone!”

She added, “SRK actually comes from the comics. We have a few mentions of Shah Rukh Khan in the comics because it was related to Kamala’s connection with Bollywood and we just love him. As a Pakistani kid in Jersey, I loved Bollywood actors growing up. So having that integrated into Kamala’s world makes it more global and real. It’s really awesome and we’re really excited about it. Shah Rukh, if you want to work with us, we’re up for it.”
From everything we know about Ms. Marvel so far, the MCU series will be as desirable as it gets. The series also features Aramis Knight, Matt Lintz, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Mohan Kapoor, and Yasmin Fletcher, among others. Actors Farhan Akhtar and Fawad Khan will also appear in the show.

The official Ms. Marvel synopsis reads as follows – Ms. Marvel is a new original series that features Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a superhero megafan with an oversized imagination, especially when it comes to Captain Marvel. Still, Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school, and sometimes even at home, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, doesn’t it?
Ms. Marvel hits streaming on June 8 this year.
