Nargis Fakhri reveals how taking a break from work had her happier than ever
Nargis Fakhri made his Bollywood debut with the 2011 movie Rockstar which gained him wide recognition. She then starred as a journalist in the political thriller Madras Cafe, which also marks one of her defining roles in her career. However, the actress made headlines when she decided to take a break.
In a recent interview with a leading publication, the actress opened up about her decision to take a break. Nargis admitted that in the end she had no option because she never had a day off. She revealed that even when she could take a day off, her friends and family were 24 hours away by plane. She could not reunite with her loved ones or have time to recharge her batteries. This caused her to rethink working so hard when she couldn’t enjoy the fruits of her labor.
She also shared that when she first thought about taking time off, people warned her that if she took a break, she would disappear from the radar. However, she took a chance and found herself happier than ever.
In a recent interview with a top publication, the actress said she was ready to make a comeback. She said: “I’m definitely looking to do a lot more. I’m really open to doing any kind of roles that come my way. But if you ask me to talk about genres, then I would really like to explore movies that are drama, action, and comedy.
