In Atlanta, Georgia’s state capital, the movie Samaritan was filmed. Stallone’s Balboa Production was enlisted by MGM to co-produce the movie when they purchased the script. Julius Avery joined the team to helm the film the following September, with Stallone due to feature.

Good:
“Samaritan” is a very formulaic superhero story that stars Sylvester Stallone as the long-retired title character and otherwise has the production values of a 1990s TV pilot.
However, its animated, comic book-inspired opening turns out to be its strongest point. Even while it is passable on its own, analytically speaking, the kindest course of action would probably be to ignore it.
