The controversial swimmer announced Wednesday night that she slipped in a warm-up area and broke her arm and was therefore unable to complete the rest of her event in Budapest.

She is currently dating her boyfriend, Joe Rintala and the love pair often uploads their picture together on Instagram.

Jack said she broke a hand “due to an unfortunate incident in this morning’s training session”. News Corp reported the injury happened when she got her hand caught in another swimmer’s suit as she turned in the water at the wall of the pool.

Australian swimmer Shayna Jack continues her desperate fight to clear her name while talking about her drug ban. The Australian swimmer told CAS that after testing positive ahead of last year’s world championships, she may never know how the banned substance entered her system.
