The Steelers franchise record for most career sacks is being approached by T.J. Watt, who should break it this year. Watt is only nine sacks away from tying James Harrison’s Steelers franchise record of 80.5 sacks with his current total of 73 in the NFL, according to the team’s website.

With 73 sacks in his first five seasons, Watt is off to a strong start. In a player’s first five NFL seasons, it ranks third all-time, behind Reggie White’s 81 and, you guessed it, J.J. Watt’s 74.5. T.J. is accurate.

The Pittsburgh Steelers allegedly worry that defensive end and current Defensive Player of the Year T.J. In their victory against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, Watt sustained a torn pectoral.

According to ESPN, Watt will get scans on Monday to determine whether their worry is accurate.

Late in the game, Watt departed the field looking limp on his left side. Watt appeared to know right away that he tore his pec, pointing to it as he approached the sideline as the TV camera panned close to him.
