The Boys: Superheroes are often as popular as celebrities, influential as politicians, and sometimes even revered as gods. But that is when they are using their powers for good. What happens when the heroes turn evil and start abusing their powers? When it is powerless against the super powerful, the boys embark on a heroic quest to uncover the truth about Seven and Watt.

The Boys is an American superhero television series developed by Eric Kripke for the streaming service Amazon Prime Video.

Season 3:

The boys’ search for a weapon capable of killing the Homelander took Butcher and Co. to Russia in this week’s episode, where they found something even more powerful: soldier boy.

While searching a Russian facility, a Super Up Butcher opens a cryochamber, inadvertently releasing Jensen Ackles’ original Celebrity Super, who was presumed dead.

Soldier Boy stepped out of the chamber, then detonated an explosive which badly injured Kimiko.

Episode 4:

The butcher meets with Namenko and negotiates with him to take the boys to Russia, killing a set target. Upon learning of the V24, Hughie asks Butcher to let him use it.

The latter refuses, but Hughie secretly injects himself with a dose. As the boys infiltrate a secret laboratory, they are overwhelmed by Russian soldiers until Butcher and Hughie use their powers.

Season 3 Cast:

The Boys: Season 3, Episode 4, Season 3 Cast, Season 3 New Characters

Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), Francie (Tomer Capone), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) all return this season after surviving the Season 2 finale.

The supes that are still alive, namely, Homelander (Antony Starr), Queen Mew (Dominic McElligott), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), A-Train (Jesse Usher), The Deep (Chase Crawford), and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) Will definitely be back for more action.

There have been six new additions to the cast so far, five of them are Supes: Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), Crimson Countess (Laurie Holden), Supersonic (Miles Gaston Villanueva), Blue Hawk (Nick Weschler), and Gunpowder (Sean Patrick Flannery).

Season 3 New Characters:

In the original comics, Soldier Boy is a parody version of Captain America, whose backstory is shrouded in mystery. Back in 1944, he was injected with the proven formula for Compound V, which was going to kill German soldiers in a way that Steve Rogers certainly wouldn’t approve of.

Miles Gaston Villanueva is playing Supersonic, Starlight’s ex-boyfriend and member of the superhero team Payback. Not much is known about the character yet, but we can expect him to try to nail down Starlight and Hughie’s romantic life.

Laurie Holden will play Scarlet Witch’s Crimson Countess, The Boys’ version. Similar to her Marvel counterpart, the Crimson Countess is known to be romantically involved with a Vision-like character, the Mind-droid. He was referred to by Starlight at the beginning of the series as a possible replacement for The Seven after the death of the Translucent.
