You must have heard the stories of Tom Brady. The superhuman athlete drinks more water than his body weight. He takes a systematic approach to everything from diet to sleep to supplements to make sure he is truly on top of his game.

While we can’t all expect Brady to achieve peak performance levels, we can literally take a page from his book, The TB12 Method (Simon & Schuster), and the method, TB12 Sports.

It all starts with positive thinking. Begin by identifying your goal or objective. Write it down and keep it by your bed, add it to your phone as a note, or do whatever you need to do to remind yourself regularly of what you’re working on.

When you are motivated by this kind of purpose, you will find it much easier to remain determined and pursue your goals. Beyond that, aim to walk 30 to 60 minutes per day.

TB12 is focused on helping people do what they love and want as long as they want – and, yes, that includes many professional athletes. Tom’s longevity and the work he has done with Alex are all a testament to what they both built with the practices behind the TB12 method.

In Tom’s book, The TB12 Method, Tom shares how important thoughts, feelings, and attitudes are when working to achieve peak performance – especially when faced with a challenge or adversity.

In a video where Justin Bieber asks people to “tell me something honest,” Brady responded with a reference to the “Tuck Rule” game.

“The tuck rule game against the Raiders, it might’ve been a fumble,” he said whispering as if someone was listening behind him.

The NFL’s social media team then got involved wiping their hands clean of Brady’s words.

Tom Brady reflects on Rob Gronkowski’s career as the tight end announced the second time he would be retiring from the NFL. Brady posted a tribute to his longtime partner on his Instagram account.

Together, Brady and Gronkowski won four Super Bowl titles, and the quarterback threw tight end 15 touchdown passes in the playoffs—the most for any pair in postseason history.

“Teammate, friend, brother, just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of @gronk. Nobody has ever embodied the idea of ‘leaving it all out on the field’ like Rob has throughout his entire career. Every single snap, I knew that no matter how many people you put in front of him, he was going to get to his spot,” Brady wrote on Instagram.

To celebrate their big win, Brady and  Gronkowski shared a video on Instagram recreating their iconic “Bad Boy for Life” video that went viral two years ago when the Patriots went on to advance to the Super Bowl. The Chiefs were defeated in the AFC Championship.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski topped off their time as NFL teammates with four Super Bowl wins — but their friendship goes way beyond what happens on the field.

Super Bowl LV, which took place in February 2021, was the former New England Patriots’ quarterback’s 10th championship appearance.
