Shah Rukh Khan is back to rule the big screen after a very long time, so it’s no surprise fans can’t control their excitement. Shah Rukh is ready to collaborate with Atlee for his action artist – Jawan. The first look sees him in a bandaged avatar and has already sparked plenty of conversations. One is the uncanny resemblance they find between Shah Rukh Khan’s look in Jawan and Liam Neeson’s look in his 1990 film Darkman.
Some harsh comments were left by Twitter users who said, “Ek aur copy #Jawaan #Darkman. Of course they will change the plot story with #Bollywood tadka, mirch masala, romance and article song #SRK but the general form would be #copycat #Bollywoodcopy”.
Some even assume that Jawan is a Hindi remake of Darkman. However, despite these remarks, the teaser and poster have been trending on Twitter ever since their release. The film is set to release in June 2023 and in 5 languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
