The board of World Wrestling Entertainment is investigating a $3 million hush-money settlement that CEO Vince McMahon paid to a former employee for an alleged affair.
Paralegal:
WWE’s board of directors launched an investigation in April regarding a secret agreement that the WWE CEO reached with a former paralegal to cover up an alleged affair.
According to The Wall Street Journal, McMahon signed a separation agreement with a female employee in January 2022. As per the agreement, the CEO of WWE agreed to pay $3 million to his former paralegal so that he would not discuss their relationship publicly.
Hush Money:
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. is looking into Vince McMahon after uncovering a secret $3 million settlement between the longtime chief executive and a former employee with whom he reportedly had an affair.
The board launched an investigation after some of its members received a series of anonymous emails beginning March 30. The emails, which according to the Journal were sent by someone who claimed to be a friend of the woman, included complaints against McMahon and John Laurinitis.
Scandal:
News of a scandal within World Wrestling Entertainment came on Wednesday, with some disturbing allegations about Vince McMahon and other executives.
Joe Palazzolo and Ted Mann of The Wall Street Journal reported that WWE is investigating a relationship between McMahon and a former employee.

Tattoo:
