As the trailer for Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starring Virata Parvam is released, the trailer promises to have you glued to your seat. The film centers on Daggubati who plays a Naxalite who is determined to uproot the evils of society. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead as she joins the Naxalite movement to win the affection of her beloved played by Rana. The film is directed by Venu Udugula and produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and Suresh Productions. Its theatrical release is scheduled for June 17.
Rana Daggubati in a promotional video for the film said the film was tailor-made for Sai Pallavi. The story is told from the perspective of her character Vennela. The film is set against the backdrop of the Naxalite movement in several parts of India during the 1990s. It is a brilliant depiction of the struggle between police, civilians and Naxals.

The trailer promises action-packed scenes throughout the film, including bomb explosions and shootouts. The 3 minute video promises to depict the history of the Naxalites and what they stand for.
