Following a quiet passing in his sleep with his loved ones by his side, Sir Sean Connery’s widow has disclosed his last request.

At the age of 90, the renowned actor, best known for bringing James Bond to life, passed away at home in the Bahamas. The BBC received confirmation of his passing in a statement.

His son Jason released a statement saying, “A sad day for all who knew and loved my dad and a sad loss for all people around the world who enjoyed the wonderful gift he had as an actor.”

According to his death certificate, Hollywood icon Sean Connery passed away peacefully in his sleep from heart failure, pneumonia, and advanced age.

At the age of 90, the renowned Scottish actor, who rose to fame as the first James Bond and starred in several cult classics during his five-decade career, passed away in the Bahamas on October 31.

From 1975 until his passing, Connery was wed to Micheline Roquebrune, a French-Moroccan painter who was born on April 4, 1929.

Children:

Sean only has one biological son, but he and his second wife, Micheline Roquebrune, raised four children together.

While Sean and Micheline did not have children together, they did each had children from past relationships.

Jason Connery is the only child of James Bond star and actress Diane Cilento.

From 1962 to 1973, Sean and Diane were wed for a total of 11 years.
